MLK Day parade in Durham

I don't know when it is, and I won't be attending this year since we're out of town, but I wanted to mention that the Durham MLK Parade, in the area near NCCU, is a fantastic parade. Parking was easy, and the bands, many of whom were from out of state, were great. 

Monday's Rally & March Cancelled

Organizers indicated tonight that because of the cold weather, the Rally & March at the Franklin St. Post Office scheduled for Monday morning has been cancelled.

The service at 1st Baptist will start at 11am.
