Both the Carrboro Alderfolks and county commissioners will consider approving their budgets for the next fiscal year Tuesday, after the Chapel Hill Town Council meets Monday to discuss Obey Creek and other development projects. The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Board of Education will consider several smaller items, while its counterpart in the northern part of the county meets in closed session. The Hillsborough Town Board is on break this week.

CARRBORO BOARD OF ALDERPERSONS
- Meeting: Tuesday, June 16th, 7:30 pm @ Carrboro Town Hall
- The Board will complete budget discussions and pass a FY 2015-2016 Budget
- The Board will consider a request for an amendment to the land use ordinance to allow community kitchens.
CHAPEL HILL TOWN COUNCIL
- Public Hearing: Monday, June 14th, 7 pm @ Chapel Hill Town Hall
- The Council will consider approving the Obey Creek development agreement at this meeting
- The Council will also continue or open public hearings on several other developments, including Grove Park and Grace Church
HILLSBOROUGH BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
- There is no meeting this week. The next meeting will be on Monday, June 22nd at 7 pm.
CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO BOARD OF EDUCATION
- Business Meeting: Thursday, June 18th, 7 pm @ Lincoln Center
- The Board will discuss and consider action on several items, including Seawell position exchange requests, kindergarten jump start programs, approval of architectural services, and approval of a contract for child nutrition services
ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
- Regular Meeting: Tuesday, June 16th, 7 pm @ Southern Human Services Center, Chapel Hill
- The Board will consider approving its fiscal year 2015-16 budget and a five-year capital investment plan
- The Board will get an update on the county's sustainability and environmental responsibility efforts
ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION
- Special Closed Meeting: Wednesday, June 17th, 9 am @ Central Office Boardroom (Meeting is closed to the public, and no agenda is available)
