All elected bodies have meetings this week. The Board of County Commissioners will discuss mechanisms to pay to extend sewer to residents of the Historic Rogers Road neighborhood. The Chapel Hill Town Council will discuss the latest request for a neighborhood conservation district.

CARRBORO BOARD OF ALDERPERSONS
- Work Session: October 13, 2015, at 7:30 pm, Carrboro Town Hall
- The Board will discuss a draft land use ordinance text amendment establishing a new "Social Service Provider With Dining Services" use classification (*we will live tweet this discussion).
CHAPEL HILL TOWN COUNCIL
- Business Meeting: Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at 7:00 pm, Chapel Hill Town Hall
- The Council will consider allowing the neighborhood conservation district process to formally begin for the Elkin Hills neighborhood.
- The Council will also receive informational reports on Glen Lennox and Carolina North.
CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO BOARD OF EDUCATION
- Business Meeting: Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 7:00 pm, Lincoln Center
- The Board will hold a work session on Project ADVANCE.
- The Board will also hold a work session on "Equity Equals Excellence: Educators Working Together to Serve All Students."
HILLSBOROUGH BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
- Business Meeting: October 12, 2015, at 7:00 pm, Whitted Building
- The Board will discuss an ordinance amending the town code to modify food truck provisions to allow truck operations to match nearby business hours and remove the requirement for trucks to leave the premises when not in operation.
- The Board will discuss authorizing commencement of eminent domain proceedings for the Colonial Inn property.
ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
- Work Session: October 13, 2015, at 7:00 pm, Whitted Building
- The Board will discuss how revenue generated from the 1/4-cent sales tax has been used.
- The Board will discuss using a County Water and Sewer District as a mechanism to provide a tool to finance expenditures in the Rogers Road Area.
