to rachel and carl c ya after the 1st. Gary Kahn

school board filing will reopen (likely October 2-6) on account of Streater resignation outside of the 40 day window set by a 1975 local act.  Ballot will say "vote for not more than 4" and 4th place finisher gets a 2-year term. There are school board forums sept 23 and 27 which may be impacted 

i just tweeeted today  that a WEGMANS that just opened in NJ attracted  over 20 000 shoppers see that chapel hill

CHCAE (which is the Ch/C Association of Educators, btw. Local branch of the NEA) had to be moved to 10/26.  I assume Town Hall, but haven't seen an official invite yet.
