- Federal stimulus package provides $5.5 million in interest-free loans for qualified school construction.
The County Commission needs to vote to accept these funds, which would
be paid back over 20 years. These funds are available for only a
two-year window.
- As built, Carrboro High School does not meet minimum state guidelines for new construction. The Arts Wing includes classroom space as well as an auditorium, is part of the “core facility” for high school, and is no less essential than a cafeteria, library or gymnasium.

PLEASE WEAR PURPLE! County Commissioners need to hear/see your support for the Carrboro High School Arts Wing.
