The First Full Week of Early Voting Begings Today!

Early Voting has begun!  You can take a look at a sample ballot here and get your choices in order:

Here is the OCDP voter guide if you want to read up on the candidates:

Remember there are only 2 early voting sites this time.  The Planetarium in Chapel Hill, and the Board of Elections site in Hillsborough.  Primary Election Day itself is May 4.
Voting site addresses and times for early voting here:

Have you voted yet?  And who are you supporting (if you feel inclined to share)?

Hours of Operation (same for both sites):
 Thursday, April 15th – Friday, April 16th  –  8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Monday, April 19th – Friday, April 23rd  –    8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Monday, April 26th – Friday, April 30th  –    8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 1st – 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Here is the sample ballot for Democrats who live within the Chapel Hill or Carrboro town limits like myself:

My picks are:

Senate:  Elaine Marshall  (polls the best for beating Burr, strong background as Sec of State & Former State Senator, best on gay rights, & to quote Marcoplos she is the "only antiwar candidate")

County Commissioner:  Joal Broun

Sheriff:  Clarence Birkhead

Judge (Calabria seat):  Jane Gray

Judge (Elmore seat):  Leto Copely

Looks like a strong line up to me:

So I haven't actually voted yet, but I'm scheduling time to make sure I do it next week.

Have you voted yet?  And for who if you feel so inclined to share?
