Many of OP readers stood in lines this morning aiming to
obtain tickets for the Rally next week in Carrboro. Looks like he’s asking us to do it all over
again tomorrow in many of the same places for a rally occurring Monday evening
at the Smith Center .
Locally, tickets will be obtainable again at the Moorhead Planetarium
and also at the Carrboro town hall. Will I
get in line again tomorrow?
Probably. I am such a sucker.

35,000 people at the Town Commons? NOT
I couldn't believe that Obama would actually show up at the Town Commons. He had 35,000 people attend a rally in Pennsylvania!
I am just glad he is going to come here at all. I am more excited about his candidacy than I have been about an election in years.
I am glad to see that once
I am glad to see that once again, the Democrats are eating their own.
Makes it much cheaper for the Republicans.
Bring it on, Obama!
Whether or not ....
Whether or not the candidate comes to Carrboro Town Commons, a crowd will assemble on Friday afternoon to hear the Canadian band Arcade Fire, which is apparently wildly popular with the younger set.
I was a tinch dismayed to see that Obama is coming to the Dean Dome on Monday. This doesn't necessarily preclude a stop by Carrboro on his way to Raleigh for the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner, but makes it less likely.

Sorry Ruby, I forgot to log on when I wrote the last post 4/26, about anonymous.
I am not anonymous......
Well ....????
Today is Monday. If Barack Obama is really coming to Chapel Hill tonight, it seems like the whole town would be getting ready by now (noon). There's no mention of a Smith Center event on the Obama website, in today's N&O, or on WUNC. No ticket table at Town Hall. No news choppers. Whazzup?
I don't think he's coming.
Really?
