Endorsements Roundup 2017

Organizational endorsements are rolling in, and early voting will begin soon. The spreadsheet below provides a summary of this year's endorsements. (We'll add others as they are announced.)

Now it's time for the most important endorsements: yours!

As always, this is a special-rules post. The rules: Only write about who you're voting for (and why, if you like). You may also list the people you would vote for if you lived in their jurisdictions. Do not refer in any way to any candidate you are not supporting. If you don't follow the rules, your comment will be removed. You're free to critique the candidates through comments on other posts or by posting your own blog entry.

The early voting period in Orange County will last from October 19th through November 4th. Election Day is November 7th.

First, my compliments to folks for compiling so much info about the candididates. Thanks. I plan on voting for Ed Harrison for Town Council. He has been an advocate for afordable housing, public transportation and is always willing to help folks navigate local government. His years of experience will be needed and appreciated with the new town council.
