Water Becoming Unaffordable in Orange County

The vicious cycle of annual OWASA residential rate increases many times the rate of inflation is rapidly making water unaffordable. These exorbitant increases are unwarranted, reflective of poor management decisions. OWASA has set-up a vicious cycle of rate increases leading to reduction of water usage, which leads to further rate increases, leading to further usage reduction, ad infinitum. This system is not sustainable.

Orange Dems Launch New Web Site

The Orange County Democratic Party has redesigned its web site and launched it today.  While the content is still a little sparce, it will ultimately be driven by our precincts, who will each have their own page, blog and calendar.  It is Drupal based, and much more flexible than our earlier page.  Much of the heavy lifting was done by Dave Tillery, and Jason Baker, our 3rd vice chair, will serve as webmaster.

Millhouse Road is in the Rogers/Eubanks neighborhood

You can't turn your back on the BOCC for a second. The Rogers/Eubanks community is back in the mix for the Transfer Station. As I have said previously the fight for environmental justice is far from over and vigilance is required. What is Foy thinking? And Jacobs was the original Sassaman buddy so Jacob's position is no surprise.

My heart goes out Reverend Campbell and Neloa Jones. Just as it appears that they are approaching the top of the mountain, voila, there is another vertical cliff to scale.
